The City of Raleigh Employees Credit Union Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Janell Minor as the new Credit Union Manager. Ms. Minor will begin work with the Credit Union on July 1, 2008. Ms. Minor comes to us with over 25 years of experience with credit unions both in North Carolina and Tennessee. She is excited to join our organization and the Board of Directors looks forward to working with her in the future. Our current Manager, Coley Barham will remain on staff for a portion of July to assist Ms. Minor with the transition into the position. The specific retirement date for Mr. Barham will be announced in the coming weeks.

The City of Raleigh Employees' Credit Union is just one of many fringe benefits provided to City employees and their spouses.
Founded in 1956, the Credit Union provides employees with a simple, easy way to save or borrow money at a better interest rate than would be available at most banks and other commercial institutions.
Loans for Credit Union members are made possible because of member deposits. All money deposited into the Credit Union is the property of the members of the Credit Union.
Although the City sanctions the existence of the Credit Union and provides space for its operation, the Credit Union is a seperate entity with its own charter and bylaws.
The Credit Union is a state-chartered financial institution governed by the General Statutes of the State of North Carolina.
